WASHINGTON Feb 8 States should permanently ban assault firearms weapons, said US President Joe Biden in a speech to Congress.
«We need to ban the circulation of assault weapons once and for all. We have done this before. I led the fight for this ban in 1994. For 10 years, the ban acted as law, and the shootings stopped. After the Republicans allowed it to expire, the cases of mass shootings tripled,» Biden said.
