WASHINGTON Feb 8 China stepped up intelligence activities in Europe, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said.
«We see increased Chinese intelligence activity in Europe. They use satellites, cyber capabilities. And, as we saw in the case of the United States, balloons,» Stoltenberg said at a joint press conference with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
According to Stoltenberg, China has been investing heavily in new military capabilities in recent years, including for intelligence and surveillance.
