UN, Feb 8 Delivery to Kyiv 100, 200, 300 tanks the West «will not make the weather» in the conflict in Ukraine, Vasily Nebenzya, Russia's permanent representative to the organization, said at a meeting of the UN Security Council.
«We are well aware that until the Kyiv regime is completely bankrupt on the battlefield, this flow (of Western weapons for Kyiv — ed.) will not dry up. And if since the beginning of the NMD a year ago we have already destroyed more than seven and a half thousand Ukraine or the tanks supplied to it, then 100, 200, 300 new tanks, as they say, will not make the weather,» Nebenzya said.
He stressed that the West is directly involved in the Ukrainian conflict, not only providing weapons and intelligence, but also sending mercenaries and military personnel, without which Kyiv simply cannot exploit some Western weapons.
«And in a number of the most Russophobic capitals, where the sense of reality was lost long before our NVO, they generally call for the sake of saving Ukraine to send NATO troops there or use NATO's border military infrastructure for operations against our country and its allies,» he added.
