YEREVAN, Mar 7 To a Russian journalist and publisher, founder of the holding » News Media» Aram Gabrelyanov was banned from entering Armenia, Sputnik Armenia reports citing sources.

» Upon arrival in Yerevan, he (Gabrelyanov. — Ed.) was asked to wait, then they said that there were problems with a passport. As a result, it turned out that he is on the list of undesirable persons,» the agency's interlocutor said.
It is noted that the journalist changed his ticket to return to Russia.
Gabrelyanov arrived in Yerevan to speak with a lecture as part of a training for journalists, which was organized by the former head of the office of the second President Robert Kocharyan Viktor Soghomonyan.
The Russian severely criticized the Armenian authorities and accused them of an anti-state position.
