
WASHINGTON, Mar 12 Saudi Arabia considers $35 billion commercial Boeing purchase to new state-owned airline, according to the Wall Street Journal.
«Saudi Arabia's Sovereign Investment Fund is close to a deal with Boeing to buy commercial jets for the new state-owned airline,» Saudi Arabia said, citing unnamed people familiar with the matter.
According to the message, the amount of the deal could reach $35 billion, and it could be announced as early as Sunday.
Airbus is also bidding for the contract, so the agreement may change at the last moment, the publication points out.
