
MOSCOW, March 15 Russian President Vladimir Putin released Roman Kopin from his duties as head of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug at his own request, the Kremlin press service reports.
Roman Kopin has been the governor of the region since 2008.
«To accept the resignation of the governor of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug Kopin Roman Valentinovich at his own request,» the document says.
By the same decree, Putin appointed Vladislav Kuznetsov Acting Governor of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug.
