In his speech at the RSPP congress, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that GDP growth is expected already in the second quarter.
The Head of State recalled that after the imposition of Western sanctions on Russia predicted a decline in the consumer sector. But the situation is developing differently.
«Western countries themselves are faced with the same problems,» the Russian leader drew attention.
He noted that in the West they are now offering their residents instead lettuce and tomatoes switch to turnips.
«Turnip is a good product, but they will have to turn to us for it,» Putin said.
