The court in Efremov scheduled a hearing on a lawsuit to restrict the rights of the parents of a schoolgirl who drew an anti-war picture for April 6

The Efremovsky Interdistrict Court of the Tula Region has scheduled a closed hearing for April 6 on limiting the parental rights of the father and mother of Masha Moskaleva, who drew an anti-war picture. Lawyer Vladimir Biliyenko told about this at the exit from the court. Mediazona has a recording of his speech.

The schoolgirl's father Alexei Moskalev is under house arrest in a criminal case on «discrediting» the army, her mother Olga Sitchikhina has not lived with her family for a long time. Today, the court held a preliminary conversation on the lawsuit on the restriction of parental rights.

The girl herself will be left in the social rehabilitation center for minors No. 5 in Efremov until the meeting. The management of this institution does not allow visitors to visit it and does not give out parcels.

The security forces drew attention to 53-year-old Aleksey Moskalev in April 2022, after he was called to school because of a drawing by Masha against the war in Ukraine in an art lesson. Then the girl's father was fined because of an anti-war commentary, and at the end of the year a criminal case was opened against him because of a post in Odnoklassniki (Part 1 of Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code).

In early March, Moskalev was again detained, and Masha was sent to the center. The next day, the court sent the man under house arrest, but his daughter was not returned to him. It turned out that in January, the Commission on Juvenile Affairs filed restriction claim p parental rights of both parents of the girl. The lawsuit was registered in court at the end of February.

Lawyer Vladimir Belienko calls it illegal, since a parent can be limited in parental rights if they leave the child in danger or if the parent's stay at home threatens the life and health of the child.
