MOSCOW, 15 Mar. Comedian and TV presenter Garik Martirosyan, in an interview with 7 Days, called the reason for his departure from the Comedy Club. According to him, he «grew» out of this project.
«
«I have not been a member of the Comedy Club since 2017. And here everything is very simple. There are no secret undercover stories. I just realized at some point that I had grown up. And the Comedy Club site, in my opinion, is a place for youthful perky humor. It is for the Comedy Club that I am not young. And I left,» the showman said.
Martirosyan added that he decided to open «other doors in creativity.»

"I started creating TV series and cartoons, various children's and musical projects. I was interested in all this before, but there was not enough time. And Comedy Club is a big part of my life. And now very worthy guys are playing for me there,” he concluded.
Garik Martirosyan gained popularity in the 90s thanks to his participation in KVN as part of the New Armenians team. In 2005, he became one of the authors and participants in the Comedy Club project. In January, the humorist took the place of the host in the musical show «Sweetie» on TNT.
