MOSCOW, March 17 Flights of Russian airlines in the summer season will be routinely provided with ground handling at Turkish airports under previous commercial agreements, the issue of flights between the airlines of the two countries is under constant control , according to the message of the Federal Air Transport Agency.
Deputy Head of the Federal Air Transport Agency Vladimir Poteshkin and Head of the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority Kemal Yuksek held consultations in Ankara on the development of air traffic between the two countries, during which a high level of bilateral cooperation was noted. We discussed the operational issues of air transportation between Russia and Turkey in the upcoming IATA Summer 2023 season, including separately discussing the issue of fuel supply for aircraft of Russian airlines in Turkey.
«During the consultations, it was noted that the issue of operating flights of Russian and Turkish airlines is under the constant control of the aviation authorities of the two countries. Flights of Russian airlines scheduled in the IATA Summer 2023 season will be provided with ground handling at the airports of the Republic of Turkey in accordance with previously concluded commercial agreements,» the message says.
