A piano on Russky Island was set on fire in Vladivostok. This is the fourth instrument destroyed by vandals, according to the telegram channel Rise, introducing previous stories that haunt the musical art object.
For the first time, the piano appeared on the edge of a cliff in the area of the Grand Duke battery two years ago, becoming favorite place for photo shoots. A few months later, unknown people turned the musical instrument into a pile of chips, and the strings and hammers, presumably, were taken to the metal receiver.
Employees of the Vladivostok Fortress Museum-Reserve after this incident installed a new piano, which stood for less than six months.
For the third time, the instrument was installed by a local businessman. A year later, it was found destroyed, however, it was not clear whether it was again destroyed due to the actions of vandals, or this time the piano was a victim of a typhoon.
The fourth piano was installed last fall. This time they tried to burn it. The caring townspeople who arrived at the place put out the fire, but, obviously, this piano will no longer serve as a musical instrument.
