NIZHNY NOVGOROD, March 18 Two people died after falling through the ice, another one is in intensive care, said the Minister of Health of the region David Melik-Guseinov in his Telegram- channel.
The tragedy occurred on Saturday in the village of Mikhailovskoye, Vorotynsky district.
«Six visitors from Tver went out on the ice during their rest. Due to the thaw and active melting, the ice collapsed under people. Two people drowned. Another one spent more than an hour in the water. The victim was urgently hospitalized in the Vorotyn Central District Hospital. the moment is in intensive care,» wrote Melik-Guseinov in his telegram channel.
