
BALASHIKHA (Moscow Region), March 22 Deputy Commander of the Central District of the Russian Guard, Major General Vadim Dragomiretsky, is accused of bribery in the amount of 28 million rubles, a correspondent reports from the hall of the Reutov garrison military court.
«Dragomiretsky is charged with two episodes of taking bribes totaling 28 million rubles,» the investigator said during the court session.
Today, the court is considering the investigator's motion to arrest the general. A high-ranking officer is charged with taking bribes on an especially large scale and exceeding official authority.
