The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against a 19-year-old resident of Saratov, who drunkenly spat into the Eternal Flame and filmed it on video. This was reported on the website of the Department of the Investigative Committee for the Saratov region.
In the case, the girl is in the status of a suspect. According to investigators, on the evening of March 17, while at the Eternal Flame near the monument to the Fighters of the Socialist Revolution of 1917, built on the territory of a mass grave, she “defiled the burial place” and filmed it on camera.
Probably, we are talking about Albina Belskaya. On March 22, the Mnogonatsional telegram channel published a post about the detention of Belskaya and her friend Olga Balash. According to the channel, the girls published a video message on their Telegram channel with the “desecration” of the Eternal Flame. In the video, Belskaya used foul language and spat at the monument while her friend danced nearby.
On March 20, the Volzhsky District Court of Saratov arrested Belskaya for five days under the article on petty hooliganism because of what happened (part 1 of article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), the security forces held a “preventive conversation” with Balash. The publication «Version Saratov» with reference to the local department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs wrote that the girls were detained on the complaint of a 26-year-old local resident.
