Lawyer: law enforcement officers shocked a suspect in the arson of a military registration and enlistment office and demanded that he confess to funding from Ukraine

A resident of Krasnodar, Oleg Vazdaev, who was detained in September on suspicion of setting fire to a military enlistment office, was electrocuted by the security forces in the police department and demanded to confess to funding from Ukraine. Lawyer Aleksey Avanesyan told SOTA about this.

According to the lawyer, the client told him about the torture after he noticed the mention of the pendant in the case file. It turned out that Vazdaev, in order to avoid further electric shocks, told the security forces about a package from «Ukrainian customers» with an amount of five thousand dollars. As a result, a pendant ended up in the parcel.

As the Krasnodar resident noted, before starting to use the stun gun, they put a gas mask on him, put him on the floor and fixed him with a chair placed above him.

Vazhaev was detained on 29 September. Four days before, on the night of September 25, he tried to set fire to the recruiting office with two Molotov cocktails in order to destroy his case and not fall under the mobilization. First, a case was brought against him for the deliberate destruction of property (Article 167 of the Criminal Code). Later, the charge was reclassified as an article about a terrorist attack (Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code). alt=»1″ />ArticleThe recruiting office is on fire.
