World-Changing News of the Week
The world has changed. Changed so radically as I could not imagine a few years ago. There is no way back. It won't be the same as it was. Whether that's good or bad, I don't know, but rather good. The dictatorship of the Anglo-Saxon countries is put to an end! Everything you just read should theoretically be in quotation marks, as it is a quote from Dmitry Medvedev. But what's the point of putting quotation marks if many people subscribe to these words (with the possible exception of «the end of dictate»)?
Medvedev himself has also changed. In 2010, as President of Russia, he said that the Great Patriotic War was won by the people, and not by Joseph Stalin; people have the right to treat him well, but from the state point of view, the generalissimo committed a lot of crimes against the people that cannot be forgiven, in Russia the renaissance of Stalinism is excluded. And now, this week, Medvedev read Stalin's telegram about the production of tanks to the leaders of the Russian military-industrial complex: «In a few days, if you find yourself violating your duty to the Motherland, I will start smashing you like criminals.»
However, Vladimir Vladimirovich stated that there would be no militarization of the economy, as was the case under the USSR. And he immediately announced that by the end of the year 1,600 tanks would be produced, more than three times more than the West would supply to Ukraine. «Let's make new ones and modernize existing ones too», –to be more precise, Putin said. In 2021, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Alexei Krivoruchko, at a single day of acceptance of military products on August 10, announced that the army would receive 65 serial T-90M Proryv tanks by the end of the year. These are new, manufactured. Therefore, the words “the existing ones are also being modernized” are extremely important. Available ones are, among other things, what the militarized Soviet economy produced. Why do we need the current militarization?
Even Vladimir Vladimirovich voiced a nuclear sensation in every sense. Russian tactical nuclear weapons will appear on the territory of Belarus. The meaning in this is deeper than purely military-applied. This is a decision that we are already one country. The last Soviet nuclear weapons were withdrawn from the territory of Belarus in November 1996. Lukashenka was already president and resisted, as best he could, the withdrawal of nuclear weapons. And so I waited for the return. In Belarus, as in Russia, you need to live long.
In China, by the way, too. China is playing for the long haul, which is why one of President Xi's first words at his meeting with Putin was: “I know that your country will have another presidential election next year. Thanks to your strong leadership, Russia has made significant progress in recent years in achieving results and prosperity for the country. I am sure that the Russian people will strongly support you in your good undertakings.” Peskov later explained to the most dull-witted that this was not at all about Putin's participation in the next year's elections, it was not about that at all. I could not explain, we ourselves understood. We realized that China is confident in the stability of Russia until 2030 for sure. Now I'll explain, – this is not about a six-year period, it is assumed that joint signed documents will be valid until 2030.
President Xi's visit to Moscow was like a sickle to the West because of what these transgender people have there. The United States tried to play the old card and present China as the culprit of the pandemic, threatening to declassify some regular documents. A manual was thrown into the liberal media that Russia was becoming a colony of China. Here, by the way, Putin clearly answered, pointing out that the dependence on China «of the European economy is growing at a much faster pace than the Russian one.» And “let them think better of themselves”, but they always tried to quarrel with China, now it will not work. And, of course, before the visit, the International Criminal Court issued a warrant for Putin's arrest. The «civilized» world, led by the United States, welcomed this case. Immediately forgetting that in the United States since 2002 there has been a law with the informal name «on the invasion of The Hague.» By law, no American citizen or ally can be arrested or detained on a warrant from the International Criminal Court. This law allows Washington to launch a military intervention if the US military, officials and politicians are in the dock.
It was not possible to discredit the visit. And his best assessment was Trump's words: «Xi's statement to President Putin, seen because of the microphone left on, was arguably the worst moment in US history.» What is the worst moment? And this one.
Si: Now there are changes that have not happened in a hundred years, and we are moving them together.
Putin: I agree.
Former presidential adviser US national security officer John Bolton summed up the “worst moment” as follows: “Russia and China say that this is an alliance without borders. I think it's serious. That's the real problem, no matter what happens in Ukraine… I think the axis is Russia–China, which is joined by Iran and North Korea. Look at the map, look at the geography.”
Actually, not only Iran and North Korea. The West is scared as hell that Medvedev may be right with the end of the dictates of the Anglo-Saxon countries. Yes, this diktat is not over yet. But. The world has changed. No quotes.
