MOSCOW, Mar 31 All senators, including representatives of the new regions, filed information on income and expenses for 2022 on time, said Yury Vorobyov, vice speaker of the Federation Council, head of the relevant commission of the chamber.
“All senators, including representatives from new subjects of the Russian Federation, reported on income, expenses, property and property obligations for 2022,” the press service of the Federation Council quoted the politician as saying.
According to the law, civil servants and parliamentarians submit declarations before April 1. In the absence of a declaration, the legislator may lose his post.
There are now 175 senators in the Federation Council.
Earlier, Vorobyov said that this year documents will not be placed in the public domain.
In February, the president Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed a law on the publication of declarations of deputies and senators in an anonymized (generalized) form without personal data from March 1, 2023.
According to the senator, there is a decision not to publish information on income and expenses this year.
Vorobyev specified that information on income will be presented to various authorities, including the presidential administration, but will be published they will not be in the open press due to the circumstances that are known.
