Founder of PMC &laquo «Wagner» Yevgeny Prigozhin refuted the information spread on the Internet that the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are «fleeing from Artemivsk».

According to him, «the Ukrainian army is not running anywhere», but is waging «bloody battles and protecting Artemovsk» at the cost of very heavy losses. Prigozhin spoke about this in his telegram channel.

Founder of Wagner PMC also noted that the Russian Wagner fighters moving forward: «…we are taking every building, every entrance, every garage between buildings». He added that there are about 800 high-rise buildings in the city, and it takes a long time to talk about each entrance. “When we take Bakhmut, then we will talk about it,” – emphasized Prigozhin.

Founder of PMC «Wagner» noted «another important aspect» – it's holding the flanks. “Today we need to concentrate in the city, because this is a very huge amount of combat work,” – he said, adding that this required the flanks to «hold our allied units.»
