MOSCOW, Mar 30 Russian companies need to enter African markets, it's worth it, as a multimillion-dollar middle class has formed in a number of countries on the continent, said on Thursday Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry, head of the secretariat of the Russia-Africa Conference Oleg Ozerov.
«We can safely go to African markets both to sell our goods and to buy goods produced in Africa. And there, by the way, there is a lot of what is produced, which we don't even have an idea about… It's clear, that we have not been doing this for many years, it was not interesting. Now you need to make very strong efforts to get a result in the African direction, but it's worth it, because in Russia there is a misunderstanding of what Africa is, and this is 500 million inhabitants, a colossal market, and this market has already formed a multimillion-dollar middle class in a number of countries,» Ozerov said during the round table «International cooperation between Russia and Africa».
