A criminal case was opened against a 73-year-old pensioner from the Sverdlovsk region for hooliganism because of two attempts to set fire to the military enlistment office in Pervouralsk. This was reported by 66.ru, citing its source.
According to the publication, on March 30, scammers contacted the woman — they introduced themselves as employees of the Central Bank. First, according to the SHOT telegram channel, they reported that someone had issued loans for a woman for 600 thousand rubles and now she owes the bank this money. Then they asked to transfer her savings — 200 thousand rubles — to a «safe» account, after which they offered to participate in a «secret operation» to pay off the remaining «debt».
According to 66.ru, the next day a “FSB officer” contacted the pensioner. A man who introduced himself as Makarov told in detail how to make a Molotov cocktail in order to «scare the terrorists in the military enlistment office.»
The woman made an incendiary mixture, came to the draft board, but could not set it on fire. Hearing that someone was coming out of the building, she left the incendiary mixture and left. Later, the swindlers persuaded her to try to set fire to the military enlistment office a second time, but when she arrived at the building, she was detained by the police.
According to SHOT, the woman's name is Lyubov Georgievna. A case was initiated against her on attempted hooliganism committed by a group of persons (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code with the application of Part 3 of Article 30 of the Criminal Code). Now the security forces are looking for those who called the pensioner.
