The girl who allegedly handed the figurine with an improvised explosive device to military commissar Vladlen Tatarsky was a certain young artist named Nastya. She, according to some eyewitnesses, was familiar with Tatarsky and handed over the bust to him.
Not far from the «Street Bar», where there was an explosion that claimed the life of a military commander, there is an Academy of Arts. One of the eyewitnesses claimed that from the conversation between Tatarsky and «Nastya» he realized that the girl was studying there. But there was no such student in this educational institution, Fontanka reported.
The explosion occurred after the girl «Nastya» brought a large box from the wardrobe, in which there was a gilded bust. Tatarsky joked that the bust was not too thick, took the box, thanked the girl and put the box next to him. After that, there was a bang. Tatarsky himself was killed, according to the latest data, 25 people were injured.
