TULA, April 4 Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the need to develop and implement new technologies in industry, adding that the state is ready to support them, but it is necessary to rely on private initiative.
“We need to intensively develop and introduce new technologies, develop a new product, create something that will determine our lives in the near future. We have done a lot to form an integrated system for supporting industrial facilities, the same comprehensive and large-scale system should be in us in terms of supporting promising R&D (research and development work — ed.) and development, especially in terms of critical products and technologies. The whole package of measures and benefits, subsidies and so on is possible here, «Putin said at the meeting State Council for the Development of Industry under Sanctions.
«It is imperative to take into account, rely on private initiative, so we need to pay special attention to creating conditions for stimulating the attraction of extrabudgetary funds. And the state, of course, should lend a shoulder and support the most important developments,» he assured.
