Former designer of the Sukhoi Design Bureau Vadim Lukashevich explained how in Belgorod a flying Su-34 aircraft could have accidentally descended aviation ammunition, which caused an explosion and destruction in the city. Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that three people were injured, two were hospitalized, the explosion damaged cars and several apartments in a residential building.
«The human factor worked here,» Lukashevich said in an interview with NSN. He added that if the pilot did nothing, then purely technically this should not have happened.
«This is someone's mistake: either maintenance on the ground, or incorrect actions of the pilot,» the expert noted once again.
Lukashevich noted that if you often carry ammunition under the wing, then this happens sooner or later, because mistakes are inevitable.
