Details of a criminal case involving Vladislav Slavov, head of the Special Communications Center of the Main Center for Communications and Information Protection of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, have become known. The second defendant in the case is an employee of Astral-M LLC, a company engaged in the development of computer software. A measure of restraint has already been chosen for him.
According to the MK reporter from the Presnensky court, Roman Ermolaev was placed under house arrest, although initially the investigator of the Main Investigative Committee of the ICR for Moscow asked to take him into custody. An employee of the company is suspected of fraud. We are talking about a tender for the supply of computer equipment to the special communications center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The total amount of contracts in 2021-2022 amounted to 246.76 million rubles and was, according to auditors, artificially inflated. According to official data, Astral-M signed 4 contracts with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the supply of cryptographic protection systems and the provision of rights to use new versions of software.
As for Slavov, his actions so far qualify as abuse of power in the execution of the state defense order. The court granted the petition to impose a preventive measure on him in the form of a ban on certain actions.
