OMSK, April 20 Police officers, together with colleagues from the Federal Security Service and the Russian Guard, detained 81 illegal migrants at the construction site in the Kirov district of Omsk, the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
It turned out that all the detained foreign citizens are on the territory of Russia illegally, working at a construction site with violations of migration laws.
«During the raid, 81 foreign citizens were identified who were working at a construction site in violation of migration laws. These persons were taken to the Migration Department, where police officers interviewed them, checked them against information databases, photographed and fingerprinted them,» — added in the press service of the department.
Police officers drew up 61 administrative protocols for violations under the article «illegal employment by a foreign citizen or stateless person in the Russian Federation» and 15 protocols under the article «violation of immigration rules», as well as 5 protocols under the article «providing false information in the course of migration registration».
In addition, the police check the detained foreign citizens for involvement in the implementation of extremist and terrorist crimes in Russia.
