MOSCOW, April 20 Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Volgograd Mayor Vladimir Marchenko on his birthday and wished him all the best.
«I want to congratulate one of the participants in our meeting — I hope he hears us — Marchenko Vladimir Vasilievich, just the mayor of the municipality, but the truth is of a large municipality, the mayor of the city of Volgograd, on his birthday. He is 54 years old today,» Putin said at the Council for the Development of Local Self-Government.
The Head of State added that he congratulated Marchenko «on behalf of himself and all his colleagues» and wished him «all the best».
