The Ministry of Justice has added investigator Khristo Grozev to the register of «foreign agents».
Also, the updated list of the department includes Moscow politician Elvira Vikhareva, Karelian activist Natalya Sevets-Yermolina, the project «Conscript School» and the publication «Advocate Street».
According to the Ministry of Justice, Grozev disseminated «inaccurate information» about the decisions of the Russian authorities and collaborated with an «undesirable» organization. Sevets-Yermolina, according to the department, supports Ukraine, and Vikhareva “received support from foreign sources” and negatively assessed the activities of the Russian authorities.
The “draft school”, according to the Ministry of Justice, “spread <…> negative information” about the Russian army and opposed the war in Ukraine. «Lawyer Street», according to the department, created a negative image of Russian legislation.
Today, April 21, a court in Moscow arrested Khristo Grozev in absentia in the case of illegal border crossing. The investigator said that he was charged with helping The Insider editor-in-chief Roman Dobrokhotov to leave Russia. In December 2022, Grozev was put on the wanted list.
