NOVOSIBIRSK, Apr 21 Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation In the Siberian Federal District Anatoly Seryshev on Friday, April 21 in Krasnoyarsk will introduce Acting Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov, a representative of the plenipotentiary's office said.
Last Thursday it became known that the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexander Uss received an offer from Russian President Vladimir Putin to move to work at the federal level. On the same day, the President held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Mikhail Kotyukov and offered him to head the Krasnoyarsk Territory, he agreed.
“The plenipotentiary representative will introduce the acting governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory this afternoon,” the agency's interlocutor said.
Mikhail Kotyukov was born in Krasnoyarsk. From 2007 to 2010, he served as Deputy Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In the period from 2018 to 2020, Kotyukov worked as the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. Since 2020, he has served as Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation. Over the years, he was awarded with thanks from the President of the Russian Federation and the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
