A project was submitted to the State Duma to simplify trade procedures with Asia-Pacific countries

MOSCOW, April 21 The Russian government submitted to the State Duma a draft law on the accession of the Russian Federation to the framework agreement on the facilitation of procedures for cross-border paperless trade in the Asia-Pacific region (APR) , follows from the database of the lower house of parliament.
The document aims to develop cross-border paperless trade by creating conditions for the mutual recognition of trade documents and data in electronic form and their exchange across borders, as well as to increase the interoperability of national and sub-regional single window systems to improve the efficiency and transparency of foreign trade transactions.

The framework agreement allows participating countries to mutually recognize trade documents and data in digital format, whether it is the export of goods or imports, or transit, which significantly increases the transparency of foreign trade transactions and will support our entrepreneurs who work in the eastern direction, explained earlier on Friday at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers its head is Mikhail Mishustin.

At the same time, according to him, it is important for Russia to ensure effective cooperation with the countries participating in the framework agreement on the facilitation of procedures for cross-border paperless trade in the Asia-Pacific region, since this will speed up the movement of goods and increase control over cross-border operations.
The Prime Minister also said that Russia is actively developing this area so that the Russians have the opportunity to work with documents in electronic form and reduce paper workflow. Such interaction is also being established between the EAEU member states, he added.
Mishustin also cited UN data, according to which such decisions will help the countries of the Asia-Pacific region to reduce trade costs by almost a quarter. This process involves 11 countries, including Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, China, Iran, Mongolia, Philippines, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. It is important to ensure effective cooperation with them in order to speed up the movement of goods and at the same time increase control over cross-border operations, the prime minister believes. =»https://ria.ru/20230404/mid-1862967322.html» data-title=»The Foreign Ministry warned that the West would create a second Ukraine in Asia»>
