MOSCOW, 21 Apr. Residents of Lugansk watched the «Challenge» at the same time as the whole country, Russian Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova writes in her Telegram channel.
“On April 20, the premiere of our first feature film shot in space was held on large screens. Residents of the LPR, together with everyone else, saw the film at the Rus cinema,” Olga Lyubimova specified.
According to her, the Minister of Culture , sports and youth of the LPR, Dmitry Sidorov noted that «the screening of the film in new regions simultaneously with the premiere throughout Russia is a significant event.»

«This is another proof of their active integration into the cultural space of our country And we, in turn, will continue to acquaint residents not only of the LPR, but also of other regions with our premieres and films from the golden fund of cinema,” the publication states.
Actress Yulia Peresild and director Klim Shipenko went to space on October 5, 2021. They spent 12 days on the ISS, and footage captured in orbit was the climax of the movie.
The Challenge was previously reported to be released in 20 countries.
