The earliest date back to the middle of the 19th century. Employees of the Visual Projects Service conduct scientific work to find reliable information for historical photographs of different years.

Cleaning Moscow streets in 1938. Sweepers PU-5 on the GAZ-AA/MM chassis, designed to clean the roadway of the city.

The outstanding photojournalist Anatoly Garanin managed to capture unique footage of the so-called «sweepers» in the early morning of 1938 on the streets of Moscow. The agency acquired the collection of works by the famous Soviet photographer in 2008. Employees of the Visual Projects Service carried out scientific work on the attribution of the master's heritage. The unusual public utility vehicle was called the PU-5 sweeper for cleaning the roadway and was based on the chassis of Soviet trucks of the GAZ-AA/MM type. Amazing machines, rather, look like spaceships, which are completely unimaginable back in 1938.

An unusual photo from the archive was taken by the photojournalist of the agency Marina Yurchenko during the recording of “Good night, kids!” in 1987. It allows us to look behind the scenes of the popular children's TV show and see those who have always remained behind the scenes — the actors who voiced their favorite characters. In the photo — the announcer of the Central Television of the USSR State Radio and Television Vladimir Ivanovich Ukhin (sitting at the table), artist and musician Sergei Grigoriev (lower left under the table), whose voice was Filya, and actress Gertrude Sufimova (lower right under the table), who voiced the crow Karkusha.
