At the beginning of the session, investigator Roman Vidyukov asked the judge to close it. “An attempt to close this process is an attempt to illegally restrict my access to the case materials and an attempt to make sure that no one knows about it,” Navalny, who communicates with the judge via video link, replied. He also clarified that there are 196 volumes in the case.
Seven minutes after the start, the judge closed the process.
An ally of the oppositionist Ivan Zhdanov said that the politician was given a day to familiarize himself with 700 sheets of materials criminal case. Navalny, on the other hand, asked to be allowed to read the documents outside of working hours — until the morning or evening check. According to him, this does not violate the daily routine.
