Rapper Scally Milano promised to delete songs about drugs and “change the vector of creativity” after the disruption of the concert and the criminal case

Rapper Scally Milano (Daniel Dmitriev ) posted on his telegram channel an appeal to the director of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, in which he promised to «completely change the vector of his work» and «reformat» old songs about «destructive behavior and prohibited substances.»

Mizulina previously wrote that she sent complaints to law enforcement agencies about “inducing minors to use drugs” in the rapper’s texts. She also posted a video from the concert, where the musician and the audience chanted: “Fuck the war.”

On the evening of April 22, the police came to the performance of Scally Milano in St. Petersburg and tore it off after the first song. Ten teenagers were taken away from the Giant Hall club, according to Fontanka. At four of them, protocols were drawn up on the refusal of a medical examination.

Fontanka claimed that after the concert, a case was opened against Dmitriev for involving teenagers in committing antisocial acts (Part 1 of Article 151 of the Criminal Code). According to the telegram channel Mash, he flew from Russia to Dubai. His concert in Moscow on April 28 was cancelled.

“The team and I have begun work on removing tracks from the sites that may contain words or expressions that fall under the concept of breaking the law,” the rapper wrote in an appeal to Mizulina. – I am also ready to completely change the vector of my creativity, which will now be directed to a positive manner, inspiring good and right actions <…> We must be role models, but with the right values.»

In an address to Mizulina, Dmitriev specifically mentioned his song, released today, called «Give Me a Chance», which «marks the beginning of the direction of his music in a positive direction» . It contains the lines: “I used to make dirt, now I planted roses in it //People in Africa have no water, take my tears.”

After the disrupted concert, Scally Milano said that he himself “does not use does not even drink alcohol”, and is now going through a “very difficult period in his life” due to the fact that his mother is undergoing treatment for chemical addiction, and his father is in jail.

Whether any of the rapper's songs have already been removed is unknown. The Mediazona correspondent compared his pages on VKontakte, Yandex.Music and Spotify with the discography on Genius.com and found no changes. The tracks that Mizulina listed remained there.
