CHELYABINSK, Apr 27 Financial assistance will be provided to residents of the Kurgan region who lost their homes and property in forest fires, the deputy governor of the region announced on Thursday Oksana Kutashi in her Telegram channel.
According to Kutashi, an operational meeting was held with colleagues from the government and deputy heads of municipal districts for social issues to provide assistance to the population affected by the emergency in Kurgan and the Ketovsky municipal district in connection with fires.
«The task was set to create comfortable conditions for people in temporary accommodation centers. We decided to provide material support to residents who lost their homes and property in fires. The region has all the necessary regulatory framework for this. A hotline will be organized for residents on issues of payments,» — she wrote in her telegram channel.
She clarified that the work of multifunctional centers, Rosreestr, the passport office and other specialized services will be organized additionally on weekends and holidays, so that residents who have lost their documents in a fire can restore them as quickly as possible.
Municipalities have been tasked with targeting everyone who has lost property due to fires, she added. According to her, the work of specialized specialists will also be organized to provide psychological assistance to people affected by fires.
According to the press service of the regional government, in connection with the fires near the microdistricts Utyak and Zaikovo, SNT «Emerald» of the city of Kurgan, a preventive evacuation of residents is being carried out. A temporary accommodation center for them has been set up at the Zvezdny recreation camp, located in the Ketovsky District, 16 kilometers from Kurgan.
As the press center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation reported, on Thursday the area of a major fire in the village of Logoushka in the Ketovsky municipal district increased to 6 thousand square meters (it was 2.5 thousand «squares»), 20 residential buildings and 20 buildings were engulfed in fire, dry vegetation is burning on 80 hectares. Later, 76 affected buildings were reported. There is an evacuation of the villagers and patients and staff of the Sychevsky psycho-neurological boarding school — about 200 people.
According to the decree of the governor of the region, an emergency regime was introduced on the territory of the city of Kurgan and the Ketovsky municipal district from April 27.
