KRASNOYARSK, April 28 A Krasnoyarsk resident has been prosecuted for tearing down 32 plates with photographs in memory of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, according to the telegram channel of the Russian Investigative Committee.
“A criminal case has been initiated against a 43-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk on suspicion of publicly insulting the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland,” the report says.

According to investigators, on Friday night, a drunken suspect tore off 32 aluminum composite plates with photographs of immortalized events and symbols of military glory Great Patriotic War and with texts dedicated to Victory Day. The images were partially corrupted and deformed.

At the moment, the issue of choosing a preventive measure is being decided.
