MOSCOW, 28 Apr. In the Center «Cosmonautics and Aviation» opened the exhibition «To live together!» to the 110th anniversary of Russian animation, according to the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the press service of VDNKh.
Guests will see sketches, artifacts and decorations from legendary projects. The exhibition is organized chronologically. The first hall was dedicated to animation pioneer Vladislav Starevich.
«He was the first in the world to start creating puppet animated films. Walt Disney admired his «Funny Scenes from the Life of Animals», «Beautiful Lucanida,» the press service of VDNKh says.
The exposition also includes works by Alexander Petrov, who won an Oscar for his short film The Old Man and the Sea. He works in the technique of «animated painting».
