MOSCOW, 29 Apr. In Anapa found an ancient burial. It dates back to the 7th-6th centuries BC, says the press service of the administration of the Krasnodar Territory.
«Researchers identify it with the tribes of the Sinds mentioned by ancient authors,» the message says.

According to the vice-governor of the Krasnodar Territory Roman Luzinov, excavations are being carried out during the construction of the Anapa-Taman gas pipeline.
“The archeological monument under study is of undoubted interest for studying the first contacts of the ancient population of the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus with ancient civilization,” Luzinov clarifies.
Now 24 burials have been studied. They were made in earth pits lined with stones. Funerary goods were also found: for example, molded ceramic dishes.
Iron sickles, bronze bracelets, clay whorls, earrings, bronze bracelets, fragments of clothing adornments were also unearthed. The graves of warriors contained knives, an axe, spearheads and a dagger.
