Russian Aerospace Forces at night On May 1, they launched a massive missile and air strike on targets in the rear of Ukraine. This is not the first night attack of the Aerospace Forces. The author of the specialized aviation channel Fighterbomber explained why night time of the day was chosen for such strikes.
According to him, the use of night time for raids «dramatically increases the chance of overcoming enemy air defenses.» Night strikes exclude “visual detection of targets by fighters”, and also neutralize the optical guidance channels of Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile systems.
All this, the expert notes, “cuts out” almost all Ukrainian anti-aircraft weapons from participation in repelling a raid, leaving a certain percentage of anti-aircraft gunners with infrared detection channels. As a result, at night, our missiles fly more efficiently, and they are “knocked down” mainly by echelons with ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
At the same time, our Aerospace Forces are left with the task of choosing the right tactics to defeat the resting places of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, command posts, enemy warehouses , since US intelligence warns the Armed Forces of Ukraine in advance about the take-off of our missile carriers.
