Rosfinmonitoring added Yakut anti-war activist Aikhal Ammosov to the register of extremists and terrorists. Mediazona found information about this on the Rosfinmonitoring website.
The activist got into the register on April 10, he is listed in it under his real name — Igor Ivanov. The list of Rosfinmonitoring includes persons under investigation and convicted in cases of terrorism and extremism, their accounts are blocked. Probably, a new criminal case was opened against Ammosov, there is a “*” sign opposite his name — this is how those who are charged with articles on terrorism are marked on the list. The Free Yakutia Foundation told Mediazone that they did not know anything about this.
In August, a criminal case was opened against Ammosov for “discrediting” the army (Part 1 of Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code). The reason for it was a banner with the inscription Yakutian punk against war, which the activist posted on the roof of the Samorodok pool in the center of Yakutsk.
The activist was fined three times under protocols on “discrediting” the military (part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) — because of the graffiti “No to war” in three languages, the leaflet “Soil your hands with paint, not blood” and a picket near the branch of “Ritual Service” with a poster «The groom has arrived”.
In winter, Ammosov did not get in touch for more than three weeks and did not come to a meeting on his criminal case. On January 6, he reported that he was safe.
