Residents of the village of Smolenka in the Chita district of Transbaikalia found on the Avito website an advertisement for the sale of land with the Pure Key source, where they take water, after their complaint, the People's Front turned to the prosecutor's office, the press service of the People's Front reported.
According to the data in the announcement, the plot with the key is being sold for 29 million rubles.
«Residents of Chita complained to us about the sale of the land plot on which the Chisty Klyuch spring is located. The announcement of the sale appeared on the Avito website. The source is popular with Chita residents, many have been coming here for water for 20 years and fear that access to source will be closed,» the press service said.
It is specified that the People's Front appealed to the prosecutor's office with a request to check the legality of ownership and sale of land.
«The department found out that more than 10 years ago, the administration of the rural settlement «Smolenskoye» illegally entered into a contract for the sale of a land plot with a water body located on it. And now, many years later, the new owner is selling valuable land through the ad service,» — noted in the press service.
According to the front, the prosecutor's office applied to the court to invalidate the contract for the sale of a land plot between the administration and a private person.
