MOSCOW, May 29th. The box office of Russian films in 2023 exceeded the annual figures for the past eight years, Russian Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova said on her Telegram channel.
She noted that since the beginning of the year, a total of 21.2 billion rubles. This is 57 percent of fees for all of 2022. Russian projects earned 16.7 billion.
“The films Cheburashka and The Challenge made the biggest contribution,” the minister said.
