The Preobrazhensky District Court of Moscow arrested for 10 days a local resident Alexei Tsarenkov, who was detained the day before because of publications and reposts about the action on June 4 in support of Alexei Navalny. This was reported to OVD-Info by lawyer Daria Rachilina.
Tsarenkov was found guilty under a protocol on organizing a public event without filing a notification (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). He spent the night in the Bogorodskoye police department, and the Muscovite will be sent to the Sakharovo detention center to serve his administrative arrest.
This is the first known arrest due to posts about the 4 June protests. On May 18, Navalny's supporters proposed holding them all over the world on the birthday of the oppositionist, who is serving a term in the Vladimir IK-6 on cases of fraud while collecting donations for FBKand contempt to the court.
At the end of May, the Moscow City Court received a new case against Navalny — we are talking about charges under six articles. The case of the extremist community will be considered in a colony in the Vladimir region, a preliminary hearing has already been scheduled for June 6.
