MOSCOW, Jun 2< /strong> The total amount of state support for the agro-industrial complex of new Russian regions in 2023 is planned at the level of 4.5 billion rubles, Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko said.
«Last year, for the first time, state support in the amount of 3 billion rubles was received by agrarians of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. This made it possible to ensure the collection of grain, leguminous crops and rapeseed on an area of more than 98%. To sow winter crops under this year's harvest on an area of 1.3 million hectares. And most importantly, to meet the internal needs of the regions in crop production,» Abramchenko said at the final meeting of the collegium of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
«This year, the total amount of state support is planned at the level of 4.5 billion rubles. This includes subsidies for growing crops — grain, potatoes and vegetables, milk production and support for the bakery industry,» she added.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, it is important to support employment in the countryside in new regions, 952 million rubles will be allocated for this support measure this year.
