MOSCOW, June 2 In 2022, Russia increased the export of agricultural products by 12% compared to 2021, to 41.5 billion dollars, including deliveries to friendly countries — 34 billion, or 82% of the total, said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko.
“According to the results of last year, Russian agricultural exports exceeded $41.5 billion, which is 12% more than a year earlier,” she said at the final meeting of the collegium of the Ministry of Agriculture.
Abramchenko emphasized the reorientation of supplies of agricultural products from unfriendly countries to friendly ones. «As a result, the export of agricultural products to friendly countries reached 82% of the total volume and exceeded $34 billion. This is a quarter more than a year earlier,» the vice premier said.
According to her, the geography of Russian agricultural exports covers about 160 countries of the world, while under the conditions of foreign trade restrictions in 2022, 18 areas of markets were opened for 46 types of products.
«First of all, this is Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. Cooperation with key foreign partners in the field of food trade, such as Egypt, Turkey, China and India, has been intensified,» Abramchenko said.< br />
