“The head of the Belgorod region accuses Ukraine of shelling settlements in the region. Ukraine rejects Moscow's accusations of shelling Russian territory. This is Euronews. explains to the audience that someone is shelling the Belgorod region, but who – unknown because Ukraine denies the allegations. The next step, and it will definitely be done, — a story about the fact that the Russians themselves are shelling the Belgorod region, and, of course, about the «explosions of air conditioners». This is the path of Donbass, which Belgorod region has embarked on.
Now a video has appeared on the Web: our soldiers are standing and looking, whether in the distance, or at Maslova Pristan, either on Shebekino, «chandeliers» are lowered; – Ukrainian military fire incendiary projectiles. The dialogue between the fighters is as follows (in a retelling forced for censorship reasons):
– Are these already red lines?
– No (the sarcasm in the fighter's voice is hard to convey on paper). We are told that these are not crests themselves, but some bandits do. So…
The web also compared the data of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the DPR and the Governor of the Belgorod Region on shelling in recent days. The conclusion is this: in terms of the number of ammunition issued by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the region, the Belgorod region caught up with the DPR.
Such brutality on the part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can be explained by the fact that the breakthroughs of the Ukrainian armed formations were still managed to be stopped during the week. Here, for example, is a quote (with abbreviations) from an official statement on Thursday: “At about 3 a.m. Moscow time, after intensive shelling of civilian targets in the Belgorod region, Ukrainian terrorist formations, with up to two motorized infantry companies reinforced by tanks, attempted to invade the area settlement of Novaya Tavolzhanka and the Shebekino international automobile checkpoint. As a result of the active actions of the cover units of the State Border of the Western Military District and the FSB of Russia, the terrorist formations of the Kiev regime, having suffered significant losses, were driven back. No violations of the state border were allowed.
Does it become clear what the fighters are talking about in the video? We have a state border with Ukraine, and we guard it. But on the other side — tank-reinforced terrorists. And with whom then is the border?
And here is another angle: now the front line passes through the territory of Russia. But not all the land through which it passes was legally ours until recently. And when we reach the borders of Russia in the LDNR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, that is, to the border with Ukraine, then what? Will we guard, as in the Belgorod region? Or «this is different» (sorry)?
Another week there was a drone raid on Moscow: firstly, it was revenge for the GUR center of Ukraine, gouged by our missiles, and secondly, a psychological attack. But, as the Telegram channels rightly noted: “If the Ragulis wanted to scare the Muscovites with their attack of drones, then it was necessary to hit Tbilisi. All the timid ones went there. A joke with a lot of truth. There are fewer and fewer people in the country who do not understand that everything is serious and for a long time.
And, nevertheless, once again: this is for a long time, or rather, forever, because this is not a conflict between Russia and Ukraine. This is a civilizational, value conflict. Here you go, Josep Borrell says: “I know how to end the war in Ukraine. It is very easy. We are ending military support for Ukraine and the war will be over in a few weeks.” But they will not do this, because «we do not want a world that will become a world of capitulation, a world that will make Ukraine a second Belarus.»
What did Belarus not please them with? Yes, the same as Russia, China or Iran. And dozens of other countries. Sovereignty.
By the way, the London-based International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) released a report about China this week: “China remains the most serious threat to the world order … There is no evidence that Russia’s actions in Ukraine have changed the plans, schedule and method of a possible Chinese invasion to Taiwan. Let me remind you, Taiwan — this is China.
So after the end of the hot phase of the conflict in Ukraine the conflict itself will not end. We will learn to live in a new world, without a Western-centric picture, which, admittedly, has been successfully imposed on us over the past three decades.
And the hot phase may really end in the summer: the already ongoing hybrid offensive of Ukraine, apparently , will soon move to the format of «like in films about the war.» This was stated by Zelensky last week, while stipulating that, of course, there are not enough forces — I spread straws so that later I could say to the West: “We should have helped better.”
Ukraine's offensive will be repulsed. It is already being successfully degraded by our missile strikes. But then the question of the state border will inevitably arise, to which no one wants to answer now, so as not to be deprived of freedom of maneuver.
Donbass knows about this. Now the Belgorod region knows too.
