DUSHANBE, Jun 5 never again follow the rules that Washington imposes, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
“The determination has accumulated to never again be led by the“ rules ”imposed by Washington, which, if not quickly, but steadily, is losing its role. More and more countries are becoming disillusioned with it,” Lavrov said during a visit to the 201st Russian military base in Tajikistan.
He recalled that the mechanisms that had been created and advertised by the West for a long time were suddenly deployed against those who tried to preserve their independence and the right to «live their own minds» in the world.
«The Russian Federation, simply by virtue of our historical codes, roots, our memory of our ancestors, of what they bequeathed to us, has turned out to be at the forefront,» the minister concluded.
