MOSCOW, June 6 More than 6,600 Russian IT companies out of 10,000 subject to re-accreditation have applied for it, more than 2,000 of them have already received confirmation, follows from the message of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation.
In the fall of 2022, the government of the Russian Federation approved new rules for the accreditation of IT companies, according to which revenue from activities in the field of information technology must be at least 30% of the company's total income, and its employees must receive a salary not lower than the average for the country or the subject of registration. Companies are required to re-accredit once a year.
«Intermediate results: 10,086 companies must confirm accreditation, 6,682 companies have submitted applications, 2,210 companies have already received confirmation, 4,472 applications are now being considered,» the report says.
Earlier, the agency reported that companies that do not have time to apply before June 1 (inclusive) will lose their accreditation.
It is noted that there are more than 22 thousand organizations in the register of accredited IT companies. More than half of them receive tax benefits and are exempt from confirmation of accreditation.
«Verification of applications will go on until July 1, until July 21 we will make a final decision. By June 10, companies will receive the first results. If inconsistencies are found during the check, we will notify organizations so that they can update the data in the application,» noted
