MOSCOW, Jun 5 further, by proxy, to create new conflicts in Europe, including Transnistria, says Senator Olga Kovitidi from Crimea.
«It is necessary to understand that the United States will try to aggravate the European foreign policy agenda as much as possible in the near future. Call it whatever you like: the second front, the third front, the Ukrainian counteroffensive — the meaning does not change, the United States needs to intensify the already paid war with Russia. By the hands of Ukraine or Poland — it doesn't matter. The United States needs a war in Europe against Russia,» the politician said.
According to Kovitidi, the United States needs a war in Transnistria, in which Chisinau, controlled by Washington, will provide maximum assistance to Ukraine. She also stressed that the statement of the President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, that if the Ukrainian army needs it, they are ready to give it the right to enter the territory of the republic in order to «deal with warehouses, weapons and personnel,» leaves no doubt that «the United States wants any at the cost of unfreezing the Transnistrian conflict, using a pocket state to beat — Ukraine.
According to the legislator, after Georgia did not allow itself to be drawn into the war against Russia, and Tbilisi turned out to be wiser than many EU capitals, Washington put on the development of the Moldovan military case.
«It is necessary to remind gentlemen of the Americans that by playing the Moldovan option to seize Transnistria, the United States will no longer be able to keep a «good face». The problem is that security guarantees and a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Transnistria were given by the international community in the format 5+2, by the States themselves, the EU and the OSCE as participants in the peace talks. A new war in Transnistria will show the true face of the United States — the face of the aggressor, and they do not want this,» Kovitidi said.
In her opinion, Washington is well aware that the war in Transnistria carries serious international reputational risks for both the States themselves and Ukraine. «The world will be forced to admit that the aggressors are the United States and Ukraine, not Russia. Therefore, the masters of political intrigue, the Anglo-Americans, will try to prepare a provocation and, as they think, a new headache for Russia,» she concluded.
