«The formula for peace is a platform that we are preparing, and everything is very difficult there. There are 10 points on the basis of which a large number of states gather. They will develop a step-by-step solution to the problem at each of the points. And then they will all put pressure on Russia, whoever can,» he said at a press conference in Kiev.
Zelensky in November 2022 said that Kyiv has its own «peace plan», consisting of 10 points. Among them — ensuring nuclear, food and energy security, the exchange of «held persons» according to the formula «all for all», the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Moscow has repeatedly indicated that it is ready for negotiations, but Kyiv has imposed a ban on them at the legislative level. The West constantly calls on the Russian Federation to negotiate, for which Moscow is showing readiness, but at the same time, the West ignores Kyiv's constant refusals to engage in dialogue. Earlier, the Kremlin stated that there are no prerequisites for the transition of the situation in Ukraine to a peaceful course, the absolute priority for Russia is to achieve the goals of the special operation, at the moment this is possible only by military means. As stated in the Kremlin, the situation in Ukraine can move into a peaceful direction, provided that the de facto situation and new realities are taken into account, all Moscow's demands are well known.
