Children's health camp «Ogonyok» in Ulan-Ude was converted into a military-patriotic center, where cadets, Yunarmiya members, athletes and children of military personnel participating in hostilities in Ukraine will have a rest. People of Baikal write about this with reference to the director of the camp, Olga Chernova.
Special forces from Chechnya will work as instructors in the camp. “We will have a military-patriotic program for teenagers from 14 to 17 years old from different regions of Buryatia. 21 instructors will work with children — they were trained in the city of Grozny at the special forces school. Children will be taught military training, tactical, fire and drill, shoot from a machine gun and assemble it. There will also be a study of medicine and the history of Russia. Every day for three hours,” Chernova explained in a conversation with the publication.
It is planned that 900 people will visit the center over the summer, there will be three shifts in total — the first will begin on June 10. The camp was converted into a military-patriotic center as part of a federal project initiated on behalf of Vladimir Putin.
